Leadership
South African Tourism is governed by a board which is appointed by the Minister of Tourism Ms Lindiwe Nonceba Sisulu and chaired by the Interim Board Chairperson, Advocate Mojanku Gumbi.
Our team of dedicated, passionate, committed and hardworking staff – in South Africa and abroad – is led by Acting Chief Executive Officer, Themba Mzilikazi Khumalo who is also the Chief Marketing Officer. The executive committee also includes Acting Chief Quality Assurance Officer; Amanda Kotze-Nhlapo – who is also the Chief Conventions Bureau Officer, Chief Financial Officer; Nombulelo Guliwe; Acting Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Digital Transformation Officer, Robert Manson; Acting Chief Operations Officer, Hanneli Slabber as well as a Head: Strategic Planning, Evaluation & Programme Management; Yoland Kona.
